We will be staying at a 4* grand historic hotel in a central location meaning all of Edinburgh’s historic delights will be steps away from you to explore during free time. Rooms will be on a twin share or private basis dependent on your choice at booking. All rooms will have a private ensuite bathroom and views of the city.

How can I join?

Please secure your place by paying a deposit. Confirmation will take place via email. There is a maximum number of places available on this trip so act fast. PLEASE NOTE: this trip must hit a required minimum number of guests to run, so please await confirmation from operations@aweventurer.com before purchasing your flights.

How do I get there?

You can reach Edinburgh via airplane to its international airport or by car, bus and train from multiple locations in Europe.

What is the rooming configuration?

The rooms are all ensuite. You have a choice between twin share and private rooms, so you can either have a bestie for the entirety of the trip to share the experience with or your own space to decompress. Confirmation of your place in a twin share will be roommate dependent.

How can I pay?

Either pay in full or pay the deposit now, and we will contact you for final payment due 120 days prior to trip departure. We also have flexible payment plans so you can pay in instalments that work for you - just email us at operations@aweventurer.com to set it up. Final payment will be via bank transfer. We recommend using Wise, which is also a great way to pay while you’re on the trip - a digital safe app with preferential foreign currency exchange rates. If you’d like to pay the remainder by credit card, there will be a surcharge.

What should I pack?

  • Day pack for carrying essentials.

  • Comfortable walking shoes with good grip.

  • Layers and cosy warm clothes

  • Sun protection - a wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen.

  • Electrical adaptor.

  • Water bottle.

Will there be downtime?

Whilst our days are designed with plenty of activities to give you the best experience, there will be time for downtime in the evenings or days when you are free to explore on your own.

Will I need a visa?

Obtaining a visa is the individual responsibility of the traveller. Please note that entry requirements can change at any time. Scotland is a part of the UK. Be sure to check with your government’s foreign travel advisories and consular websites to ensure you have the correct information.
