Dearest gentle reader,

If you’ve been supporting my content, then you’ll know I have a slight obsession and great love for all thing’s books. That being said, I am so excited to announce that I’ve brewed an enchanting book lovers experience in the beautiful city of Bath!

As an avid reader I often find myself using books as a form of escape and I thought why not get out there and do it for real. This trip has been designed with the reader in mind. With an engaging itinerary jam packed full of literary themed activities, history and picturesque locations, together we’ll channel our inner lady or lord and live out our Pride and Prejudice fantasies.

Come and bond with likeminded people on this 5-day retreat. I’ll be there to guide you through some fun and relaxing crafting sessions and a book club meeting or two. My hope for this trip is to inspire and be inspired.

Consider this your invitation to the ultimate immersive book club retreat. I can’t wait to create some unforgettable memories with you all and go on our very own adventure for the books.

Kanlin Butler is a creative homebody who finds joy in combining her love for crafts with her passion for books. Her creativity extends beyond just hobbies – it’s a way for her to connect with others and unwind. Born and raised in New Zealand, she cherishes the peaceful lifestyle that comes with living there. The serene environment provides the perfect backdrop for her artsy pleasures, reading passions, and easy-going personality.

In addition to being a hands-on mum, crafter and an avid reader, Kanlin runs a rewarding and fulfilling Instagram account dedicated to books. Often found in a secondhand bookstore or at a book fair, her wish is to show people that reading doesn’t have to be expensive and if you’re resourceful you can pursue the hobbies you love affordably. With a little inspiration, connecting with your creative side can be accessible for all levels and she hopes her platform is a place that evokes that spark. Sharing her literary journey with others brings her great satisfaction, as she gets to engage with a community of fellow book lovers and foster a harmonious and inviting space where readers and creatives can find inspiration and share their love of literature.
