I started using tik tok, and my second video went viral. More than half a million views and 17,000 followers in a week.

This was the video:

I tried to assess the ingredients for a viral video, and it seemed to be:

  1. Face in frame

  2. Astounding back drop and experience

  3. Animals

  4. Unseen elsewhere

Since then, I’ve posted more videos but none with the same impact. As I’m tapping into past travels, I realise I haven’t taken as many videos as I have photos.

The solution? Turning Live Photos from travelling into a video. With ios 11 it is easier than ever.

  1. Select the live image you want as the first frame

  2. Click on the share box

  3. A window will open. Keep ticking other images to combine into a video story format, in order from first to last

  4. Select 7 live photos for a 15 second clip, and scroll down to select “save as video”

  5. You now have a ready made clip as below:
